Roi House

The guesthouse is clean. This I won't complain about. Location is quite fine close to a green park where you can have a morning jogging, long walk and enjoy the atmosphere around in the evening. Lots of eating places nearby. And it values money to stay here.

I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm. The first night was a bit noise from packing and unpacking after 11 pm and was interrupted by the light in the dorm as there was no curtain available. The lobby area I would assume that is a part of the coffee shop area on the first floor of the house. However i still not really felt convenience to sit and chill. It would be better to have a separated lobby / community area. Of course there is a space with chairs and table in the dorm but it is not a chilling area still.

There's is no reception desk or staff to be contact or find any help.. I maybe disturbing the cafe staff or the photographer that is not the person incharge.. so sorry for them.

The interior of the hostel was clean and of a good standard. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night so we got a good night's sleep. Location was also very good.

There was nobody from the hostel to check us into our room or talk to throughout our stay. Someone from the cafe downstairs dealt with our booking but he had to keep calling the manager of the hostel to answer any questions we had. Also breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was a notice to say that milk and juice were in the fridge but on the first morning there was no milk or juice available. There was only a small amount of cornflakes too. I mentioned this to the people in the cafe. The next morning there was juice in the fridge but still no milk. So that was a bit disappointing. The 3F showers were really good, but I moved down to the 2F on my second night and the showers on this floor weren't as good, there wasnt much pressure and the water would switch between being either extremely hot or freezing cold.

The location was good and it was cheap.

It was too noisy, a lot of party people making noise at all hours. The bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress was really hard.

I walked from the rail station amongst a vibrant group of young people, passing cool resturants, shops, and great vibe of the area. my stay was on a sweet quiet street, welcomed by a young man at the Roi. He was so kind, and was greatly enthused that I discovered Roi House in my Lonely Planet Book. A great price for basic needs with comfort. I requested a 5 person room, but luckily had the room to myself, opening the window to enjoy the cool breeze during the night. a nice walk back through the park to the rail. I am 56, a solo female traveler, english speaking only, and totally happy with my stay.

Not used to a bunk bed, but it was very very comfortable, and the linens very nice. even had the Roi house signature written on the pillow.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and well maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

If you’re from Europe and used to sleeping with a duvet (down blanket) it may need some getting used to. The bed and mattres are covered with a regular blanket and no sheet. Also, the bed is very firm. If you enjoy sitting in bed and working on your laptop, surfing the internet, etc this may not be for you as the bed in the dorm are not next to a wall so you have nowhere to lean on to.

It’s less than 10min walk from Hongik univ. station. And staff are nice and helpful. Free breakfast are provided.

전철역에서는 좀 멀었어요

일단 너무깨끗했고 방1개를 빌려서썼는데 너무편하고 좋았습니다 두번째방문이였지만 두번다마음에들었어요 다음에도 기회가된다면 또가고싶습니다 푹쉬었다가요

도미토리룸의 2층 침대 배치 방식이 답답, 불편

위치가 좋았고 저희는 2인실을 사용했는데 전용욕실이 따로 마련되어 있어서 좋았습니다!

인터넷 상의 정보와 실제 숙소 정보가 좀 다른 것 같아서 안내받을때 좀 혼란스러웟어용

홍대에서 가까워서 너무 좋았어요. 침구상태는 굿이였습니다. 보송보송해서 잠이 잘왔어요 ㅎㅎ

바닥청소가 좀 더 깨끗했으면 좋았을텐데..생각했어요. 근데 슬리퍼를 신고다녀서 그나마 다행이라 여겼어요 ㅎ

직원분이 친절했어요

침구류 상태가 깨끗하지 못하고 먼지많아요

방도 깨끗하고, 침구류도 깨끗하고, 욕실도 깨끗함. 저녁에 근무하시는 직원분, 아침에 근무하시는 직원분, 모두 매우 친절함. 아침에 조식먹으러 내려갔는데 요즘은 조식 운영 안한다고 해서 커피 주문했더니 죄송하다고 서비스로 빵을 주심. 커피랑 빵 맛있게 먹었습니다. 감사합니다~

게스트하우스에 아쉬운 점은 없다. 하지만 옆 방 분이 너무 시끄러워서 잠을 잘수가 없었다. 심지어 밤중에 노래까지 틀어놓고 노래부르심;;; 공동으로 사용하는 게스트하우스인만큼 에티켓좀 지켜줬으면 좋겠다.

체크인 내용을 미리 문자로 보내주어서 간편하게 이용할 수 있었어요ㅎ시설도 전반적으로 다 좋았어요!! 깔끔하고 잘 정비되어 있어요~ 샤워시설이랑 화장실이 분리되어있고 이용할 때도 붐비지도 않고 편리했어요.

침대 머리맡에 조명이 전구가 없어 사용할 수가 없었네요 조식제공이라고 적혀있는데 찾을 수 없었어요.
